Allison Trinkle, Licensed Wildlife Rehabber

Allison has been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember. From an early age, she knew she wanted to work with them, which led her to gain hands-on experience as a teenager assisting a local veterinarian. Over the years, she has dedicated countless hours to volunteering at animal shelters and expanding her knowledge through specialized educational events, including one at Purdue University.

Three years ago, Allison entered the world of wildlife rehabilitation, initially intending to help with occasional transport. However, she quickly fell in love with the work and soon began fostering, ultimately becoming a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. While she cares for a variety of species—including squirrels and the occasional bunny—her heart belongs to opossums. She also takes great pride in providing care for some of the rescue’s older animals.

In addition to her work with wildlife, Allison has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and has been a dedicated member of Community Health Network for 15 years as a Senior Patient Account Representative. She has been married to her husband, Audie, since 2017. She is the proud mother of two daughters and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first grandchild. She also shares her home with two beloved corgis and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys listening to live music, spending time in nature, playing ball with her dogs, and making memories with her family.
